His brother is no stranger to being surrounded by crowds of admiring women but today, it was the Duke of Cambridge's turn to hobnob with the ladies.
But the ladies in question were no ordinary women: instead, William was meeting the high-flying stars of the England Women's football team in his role as president of the FA.
During his visit, he was presented with a miniature football shirt for Princess Charlotte, who, her doting father revealed, has been giving him 'a few sleepless nights' over the past three weeks.

'But he said he was just happy to have them both here.'
William, who is president of the Football Association, met the Lionesses' head coach, Mark Sampson, and the senior women's squad at St George's Park in Staffordshire.
In a lighter moment, Aston Villa fan William quipped that he might be facing 'a bad day' after the FA Cup final is played at Wembley on May 30, with Villa playing Arsenal, the team supported by Prince Harry, for the trophy.
As FA president he will be responsible for handing the cup to the winning side's captain. He said: 'It's either going to be a very good day for me, or a very bad day'.
England are currently in the middle of a pre World Cup training camp at St. George's Park in Staffordshire and will fly to Canada where the tournament is being staged next week.
Tiring: The baby has been giving her father sleepless nights - and her older brother George is 'lively' too
Good sport: William also took a tour of the team's dressing room and a snap was posted on England's Twitter
Hotly tipped: The Lionesses are favourites for the World Cup following a perfect qualifying campaign
Challenge: The team begin with France on the 9th, followed by matches against Mexico and Colombia
The team is hotly tipped for the title, having enjoyed a perfect qualifying campaign which saw them triumph in all 10 matches, score 52 goals and concede just one in return.
As a result, Mark Sampson's team are hoping to go surpass their previous best, a place in the quarter finals, and lift the trophy on the 5th July.
Before that though, they have a set of tough group F fixtures to navigate, beginning with France on the 9th June, and followed by tilts against Mexico on the 13th and Colombia on the 19th.
Sending the team off to the World Cup, Mr Sampson then gave a rousing address to his players, saying they were 'an inspiration' to their generation of women and those to come.
Thanking William for his support, he added: 'It's a big moment for us. It speaks volumes about where the women's game is - the support we are getting.'
Training: William also watched the England Lionesses put through their paces during a training session
Big arrival: The Duke arrives in Staffordshire ahead of his meeting with the England women
Busy: The Duke has had a busy week, with this visit coming hot on the heels of a trip to Switzerland
The Duke replied: 'The World Cup is a great platform to raise yourselves to the next level. It will all be televised, so we can see how you're doing back home.'
He added that he would 'come back' to see the squad when they return.
William, who spearheaded England's abortive bid for the men's World Cup in 2018, has been president of the FA since 2006 and has since become a familiar face in the dressing room.
His most famous foray backstage came during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, when, with Prince Harry, he headed backstage to comfort a downcast England following a dismal performance against Algeria.
This time around, the Duke will be hoping for a better result from England who will be fielding, among others, midfielder Fara Williams, 31, who has amassed a record-breaking 139 caps to date.
She is also the patron of the Homeless FA, an initiative launched in association with Centrepoint that encourages homeless people into the sport.
